Turner School Families Rock!

Hello Families!

WOW...all we can say is WOW. Monday night was our first parent club “meeting” and boy was it fantastic! We went through over 150 snow cones, ran out of popcorn and had over 175 people attend. What a wonderful way to kick off our parent club’s new school year here at Turner Elementary! We look forward to seeing each of you again over this year, getting to know you, and working with you on our Parent Club’s various committees and activities.

Here are some up and coming events:

The Jog-A-Thon is Friday, September 30th. Packets will be sent home one week before the Jog-A-Thon on Friday, September 23rd. A schedule of each class’s run time will be sent out closer to the Jog-A-Thon. Parents are welcome and encouraged to watch or even run with their child on the day of the run!
Parent club will be providing ice cream for open house September 22nd. See you there!
Our next parent club meeting is October 3rd at 6pm in the school library. Snacks and childcare will be provided. Everyone is welcome!
Our first family movie night will be October 22nd. More information to come as the date gets closer.
